If you could be anything, what would you be?
Remember the question when you were a little girl? Do you remember your answer?
I remember three of mine from different stages of life: a rock star, a police officer, and a ballerina. My mother shot down the first two (on the spot) and my teacher the third, legitimately asking me, “didn’t you just quit ballet over the weekend?” I had. I wasn’t very good at it - I was the girl who stood on stage at a recital watching and copying the girls in the dance line because I couldn’t remember the routine. Oh, and I’m not a great dancer.

I do not look back and think I’ve missed my calling. In fact, as I look back I think about the sweet naivety of picking a career for ourselves with such a limited knowledge and view of the world. No need of income, pressure to cover the bills, stress of a boss and meeting deadlines. What bliss.
Now, think about this, what have you gotten to be or do that you as a little girl never would have dreamt of? How amazed would that little girl be to know she could do THAT?
If you could be anything today, what would it be? Remove the barriers and expectations - what would you do or be if you had all the time in the world, if money weren’t and issue, and there was nothing holding you back?
